From The Archives...

This photo from the KCP archives seems fitting to post, since I'll be heading out to the Republican National Convention tomorrow.
The photo is from a liveshot I did with Sen. McCain sometime back in 2004 or 2005 I believe.

At the Convention, I will be producing interviews with GOP notables for the RNC from the Xcel Center. I'll post a recap when I get back. Let's hope Hurricane Gustav doesn't ruin the party!

Artblog recognizes KCP!

We are thrilled to see that the folks at Artblog recently told their readers about the videos we've been producing for Nexus/Foundation for Today's Art.
They even included a mention of us directly, and linked to our website.
I think this may count as the first time we have officially received "press" about our work. Go us!
Check out artblog to read the article.

KCP covers the "Wedding Crashers"

You may now crash into the bride!
KCP was onsite in Fair Hill, MD covering the wedding of Donald Veasey and Tina Holcombe for Good Morning America. These "Wedding Crashers" got engaged last year at the Cecil County Fair Demolition Derby and decided to make it official at this year's event by saying "I do" and then crashing into each other.

We spent Saturday shooting preparations for the event, the whole ceremony and the groom participating in the derby afterwards. Sunday, we were up early with the happy couple for live interviews on GMA. You can see one of the interviews HERE. Tina and Don were incredibly sweet and everyone at the event was so helpful. They even let us put a POV Cam on the groom's car to capture the crash. It was truly enjoyable to be a part of their special day.

And no, this doesn't mean we are going to start shooting wedding videos now. ;)

Something we've been up to...

Here's just one of the things we've been up to in the last few months.
KCP traveled to ING HQ in Wilmington, DE for this shoot with
CEO, Arkadi Kuhlmann. We provided production and lighting gear,
crew and management for the video.
The ING Cafe kept us caffeinated all day, & we had a great time on-set.

Check out the final video...

Gentlemen, start your engines

This week started out with me (Kaci) on the floor at the NAIAS in Detroit. I guess you could say I was busy 'till the cows came home since I was on-hand working with Chrysler when they brought a whole herd of steer up a downtown street in Detroit to premiere their new Dodge Ram truck.

I also had the pleasure of doing interviews with Lou Rhodes who is in charge of the company's environmental division. The concept Jeep Renegade in the picture runs solely on battery power.

Admittedly, I don't know a great deal about cars. But even I was impressed with the amazing mix of art and engineering where ever you looked on the show floor!
